Welcome to HELL HWY. This blog has been created for anyone to post their experience on a hell road or highway. I live in the lower BC, Canada mainland and the mountain pass highway to the interior is nick named "Highway to Hell". Many people have lost their life or been injured on the Coquihalla Hwy. The long hill out of the mountain pass is called the "Smasher". That is because in winter there is many incidents on this stretch of road. Vehicles and semi trucks are smashed to hell. Too much speed for road conditions is usually the main contributing factor. Truckers have to chain up in the winter regularly to summit the mountain highway.

There is various roads and highways around the world that have been named hell hwy or highway to hell. Please share your stories and images (not too graphic please) of your experiences in travelling these roads and highways. Warn others of what they might face. Feel free to give good sound advice.
